As part of Lafarge site management’s commitment to promoting a strong culture of occupational safety and health, General Khaled Abdel Salam delivered a specialized awareness lecture on occupational safety procedures and fire response techniques, in the presence of a large number of security guard at the site.

The lecture addressed the importance of adhering to safety standards within the workplace and emphasized the necessity of following preventive guidelines to minimize risks and accidents. General Khaled Abdel Salam also reviewed the main causes of workplace fires, methods of prevention, and effective strategies for early intervention and fire control.

He highlighted the importance of continuous training for employees on the proper use of firefighting equipment, as well as ensuring the readiness of early warning and alarm systems to protect lives and property. He further stressed the need for teamwork and cooperation among all staff to maintain a safe and secure working environment.

At the end of the lecture, an open discussion session was held to answer participants’ questions, which contributed to raising awareness and enhancing their ability to effectively handle emergency situations.
